Master Lock appears on TV

Along with print and radio advertising, Master Lock branched into television. The first commercial, in which a Master Lock padlock foils a bullet fired from a .44 Magnum pistol, was shown in 1967 on the NBC Today show with Hugh Downs, and the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson.
